LIL GAZ

about LIL Gaz

LIL GAZ, a 22-year-old independent Hip Hop/Rap artist from Detroit, Michigan, was a tennis prodigy from the age of 3 until 17. At 14, he moved to Spain to elevate his tennis career, but at 16, a major spinal injury ended his journey in the sport. During his recovery, GAZ discovered his passion for music and ended up declining multiple D1 offers to pursue music.

In June 2019, he began recording, debuting with the EP “F*CK LOVE.” His breakthrough came in September 2019 with the single “BAPE,” which quickly gained attention and has since surpassed 3 million streams across platforms. GAZ has been releasing music consistently, and in December 2020, his single “Good At Goodbyes” became his first music video, accumulating 600k views on YouTube and over 1.3 million streams on Spotify. The song was part of his EP “Cold Heart,” which also featured “Mixed Emotions,” his most successful track to date, with 1.5 million YouTube streams.

GAZ is recognized for his raw lyrics and catchy melodies, often drawing comparisons to artists like Juice WRLD and The Kid LAROI. His “Me vs Me” album series includes “Monsters” (2024), “Dark Thoughts” (2023), and “Me vs Me” (2021). He is preparing to release the next installment, “Psychosis,” in April 2025, featuring highly anticipated tracks like “Smoke Myself To Bed” and “Get Me.” With his relentless work ethic and growing fanbase, LIL GAZ is positioned for continued success in the music industry.
